Bastion provides thoughtful resources and programming for members of our residential community on Mirabeau Avenue. As a nonprofit organization, Bastion connects residents with cost-free programs, services, and specialist staff members to help them heal, grow, and thrive in their post-military lives. Bastion does not own or operate the housing units in our residential neighborhood, but supports and cultivates the now-citywide community of veterans that started right here on Mirabeau Avenue.

Bastion is a nonprofit organization that provides resources, programming, and services for veterans and their families. Bastion does not own, operate, or maintain the 58 housing units in our residential community. These units are owned by Renaissance Property Group and managed by Cohen Esrey, who review housing applications and execute all leases.

If you are a veteran interested in applying for housing at Bastion:

  1. Visit Cohen Esrey’s website for Bastion housing here.
    1. Apply for housing by clicking “Apply Now” at the top right corner of the homepage. 
    2. At a minimum, a government-issued ID, a Social Security card, and a $35 dollar money order for the application fee will be required. Your application is not complete until these documents are received by Cohen Esrey.
