Make a General Donation

Contributions of all sizes help us provide shirts, food, beverages, and other race day necessities for our veteran runners. All additional funds raised will be allocated to our Resident Council for community events, resident-led resources, and other needs for our community as they see fit.

Run (or Walk!) with Bastion

New Orleans participants can join us at the starting line of this picturesque race course, and out of town supporters can register to complete the race virtually. Check out our FAQ section below for more details about participating in the CCC10K as a charity runner.

Volunteer on Race Day

As a Run For It charity partner, Bastion is required to provide 10 volunteers on race day for the CCC10K organizers’ needs, plus any volunteers we need to support Team Bastion. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Susan at [email protected].

FAQ

Absolutely not! Our signature Headway brain injury program and newly launched year-round Wellness Intensive have always served veteran who do not live at Bastion. With the opening of our new Veteran Wellness Center, we have increased capacity for these programs plus a wide variety of other wellness offerings.

Bastion is more than the 58 housing units you see on Mirabeau Avenue – our community stretches all across the Greater New Orleans area. Any veteran is welcome to walk through our doors seeking support, community, or an opportunity to serve their fellow veteran.

Bastion is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves veterans with cost-free resources, programs, and specialists like occupational therapists and social workers – Bastion does not own or manage the housing units in our residential community. These units are owned by Renaissance Property Group and managed by Cohen Esrey. For questions about housing applications, contact Cohen Esrey at 504-283-9726.
